Tinnitune Terms of Service
Last updated: August 2026
Agreement
By downloading or using Tinnitune, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
Apple's Standard EULA
Tinnitune uses Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA) for iOS, available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. Where these Terms of Use don't address something, Apple's Standard EULA applies — but these Terms of Use take priority wherever they do address something, including for iOS users.
Google Play (Android)
Unlike Apple, Google Play doesn't provide a standard EULA of its own — these Terms of Use are the complete agreement between you and ShahWave Ltd for Android users, alongside Google Play's own Terms of Service.
What This App Is
Tinnitune is a self-management tool for tinnitus. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, or cure tinnitus or any hearing condition. It is designed to support, not replace, care from a qualified healthcare professional. If your tinnitus is new, sudden, one-sided, or accompanied by hearing loss, dizziness, or other symptoms, please see a doctor or audiologist.
Subscriptions
Tinnitune Premium is offered as auto-renewing Monthly and Annual subscriptions, and as a one-time Lifetime purchase. Subscription price and duration are shown before purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price you agreed to. You can manage or cancel your subscription any time in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings. Any unused portion of a free trial, if offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Refunds
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google, not by Tinnitune or ShahWave Ltd, in accordance with their own refund policies.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except where applicable law permits it, and not to use the app for any unlawful purpose.
No Warranty
Tinnitune is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for any particular purpose.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ShahWave Ltd is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
This Website
These terms also cover your use of shahwave.com, including any free guides or resources you request through it. See the Privacy Policy for what's collected when you do.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app or this website after a change means you accept the updated terms. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute arising from them or from your use of the app or this website is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales — except where the section below gives you the right to use your own country's courts instead.
Your Local Consumer Rights
If you live outside England and Wales, nothing in these terms takes away any protection given to you by the mandatory consumer-protection laws of the country where you live, including your right, where that law provides it, to bring a claim in your own country's courts. Where those mandatory local rights conflict with anything in this document, your local rights take priority.
