Tinnitune press kit
Everything you need to cover Tinnitune — boilerplate copy, a founder quote, brand assets, and a direct line to us.
Boilerplate
Most tinnitus apps make people pick one approach — sound therapy, or CBT, or notched music. Tinnitune, built by ShahWave Ltd, does all three in one app, tuned to the user's exact tinnitus pitch. It helps people understand their tinnitus through a short private intake, match and mask their exact tone, and build habits that make it less intrusive over time through guided programs, CBT-based exercises, notched music therapy, and a daily journal. Everything runs entirely on-device — there's no account, no backend server, and no ad tracking. Tinnitune is available on iOS and Android in nine languages, including full right-to-left support for Arabic and Urdu.
Founder note
I have tinnitus myself, and most of the apps I tried treated it as one generic problem with one generic fix — a white noise track and not much else. None of them asked what my tinnitus actually sounded like, or gave me any way to tell whether anything I was doing was actually helping.
Tinnitune started from that gap. It begins by asking what's actually going on for you, matches sound to the specific pitch you hear, and gives you a way to track whether any of it is working over time — the tools I wished existed when I was trying to figure this out for myself.
It's built the way I'd want a tool like this to work: private by default, honest about what it can and can't do, and designed to support your care team, not replace it. — Sikander Shah, Founder, ShahWave Ltd
