Tinnitune
Understand your tinnitus.
Find calm when you need it.
Tinnitune helps you understand your tinnitus, build habits that make it less intrusive over time, and find calming sound when you need it — starting with a short, private intake that builds a plan around you.
On-device only — no account, no server, no ad trackingPrivacy
Your tinnitus data belongs to you.
How it works
Match. Personalise. Manage.
Match
A short private intake, then find the pitch that sounds closest to your tinnitus.
Personalise
Tinnitune generates masking sound tuned to your exact pitch, not a generic track.
Manage
Use it for sleep, focus, or intrusive moments — and track what's actually helping.
The distinctive part
Find your tinnitus pitch. Not just any noise.
Generic white noise treats every tinnitus sound the same. Tinnitune finds the exact frequency that sounds closest to what you hear, in real time, then generates masking sound tuned to it — the difference between sound built for your ears and one-size-fits-all noise.

A few things worth knowing
Is Tinnitune a medical device?
No. Tinnitune is a self-management tool — it doesn't diagnose, treat, or cure tinnitus or any hearing condition. It's built to support care from a doctor or audiologist, not replace it. If your tinnitus is new, sudden, one-sided, or comes with hearing loss or dizziness, please see a professional.
Where does my data go?
Nowhere but your device. There's no account and no backend server — your tinnitus profile, journal, and session history stay local unless you choose to export them yourself. See the Privacy Policy for details.
What languages does it support?
English, Spanish, French, Punjabi, Arabic, Urdu, Chinese, Japanese, and Vietnamese — with full right-to-left support for Arabic and Urdu.
Is it free?
Yes — pitch-matching, tuned masking sound, Sleep Mode, and up to 3 saved presets are free, always. Premium adds deeper tracking (insights, trends, journal), guided programs, CBT exercises, more sound options, Quick Relief, and the clinician PDF report.
Why I built this
I have tinnitus myself, and most of the apps I tried treated it as one generic problem with a single generic fix — a white noise track and not much else. None of them asked what my tinnitus actually sounded like, or gave me a way to tell whether anything I was doing was actually helping.
Tinnitune is the tool I wished existed: it starts by asking what's actually going on for you, matches sound to the specific pitch you hear, and is honest about what it can and can't do.
